Every year, the Red Cross prepares millions of people to save lives through health and safety training, including first aid, CPR and AED, Blood-borne Pathogens Training, aquatics and water safety, swimming lessons, HIV/AIDS prevention education and Babysitter's Training and other care giving programs. The Red Cross is committed to keeping people safe at home, at school and in the workplace by teaching people not only how to respond to emergencies, but also how to prevent them. 

 

Your local American Red Cross chapter is right here in your community, providing relief to victims of disasters and helping people learn to save lives. Through your participation in our health and safety programs, you enable the Red Cross to provide lifesaving programs and services within our community.
