About Our Chapter

The Cherokee Chapter of the ARC was chartered in 1916 to provide assistance to American military during WWI and now, 93 years later we are still continuing that tradition by serving as a communication link as well as serving the needs of disaster victims and providing other services to our communities.
Through Project Share we are able to help with utility bills for Cherokee residents who are over the age of 62 ,or totally disabled, and meet the income requirements.
Cherokee Chapter is supported entirely from voluntary contributions from individuals, organizations, churches and our own fundraising events within our county.
